I want to share with you what we are doing with your "Nice Bike story. We recognize twelve staff members (administrators, teaching staff, maintenance, etc) every two weeks with a Nice Bike pin and story. We began the year by choosing twelve people to receive the NICE BIKE award and gave them a NICE BIKE pin at the first meeting of the year. We even had a Harley on the stage. Those twelve people are to pay it forward and choose someone to receive the pin in two weeks and so on, until the end of the year. There are so many people who would not have been recognized with the typical Employee of the Month Award. It has been great reading the comments about the reason they were chosen.
We also choose two to four staff members each month to receive the ultimate NICE BIKE and recognize them at our board meeting. They receive a pin to keep, a certificate and their picture in the paper. It has been very positive for our district.
